Can you run a DVC sub to a 2 channel amp?
Ok here’s the situation I’ve got 1 2ohm DVC subwoofer. My amp is only 2ohm stable in stereo not mono. Can I run 1 voice coil to the right channel of my amp and the other voice coil to the left side thus resulting in a higher amp output at a 2ohm load
yes. you can also wire the sub in series for a 4 ohm mono load and bridge the amp. it will make the same amount of power either way.
